Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime as required
Compensation: Pay based on experience
About the Role
Brycon Construction is currently looking for a full time Mechanic Apprentice to assist in the daily mechanical shop activities.
Duties will include:
- Perform general auto mechanic duties
- Knowledge of small engine repairs
- Assisting mechanics in daily duties
- Picking up parts from external suppliers
- Fueling heavy equipment as required
- Pick-up and delivery of miscellaneous parts to various job sites
- Escorting heavy equipment
- Keeping shop clean and organizing parts and supplies
- Other duties as assigned
All applicants must have:
- A valid Nova Scotia driver’s license and willing to obtain Condition 15
- Drivers Abstract
- Knowledge of tools and parts required to perform duties
- Have a positive attitude, are reliable, and a be able to communicate to others in a team environment
