About the Role
Brycon is a local civil construction company currently looking for an Off Road Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating off-road trucks safely and efficiently on construction sites, while ensuring proper daily inspections, reporting, and vehicle maintenance procedures are followed.
Previous experience operating Cat, Volvo, and Bell trucks is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this role will include:
- Operate off-road trucks safely and efficiently on civil construction sites.
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and report any deficiencies.
- Complete routine circle checks and ensure the vehicle is kept clean.
- Record relevant information for hours of service and daily work requirements.
- Follow all site safety policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, equipment operators, and other team members.
- Assist with general site duties as required.
All applicants must:
- Have previous experience operating off-road trucks.
- Have experience with Cat, Volvo, and Bell trucks, considered an asset.
- Have a positive attitude, be reliable, and be able to communicate with others in a team environment.
- Have a valid Nova Scotia driver’s license.
- Obtain a clean Driver’s Abstract.
- Be committed to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
