About the Role
Here at Brycon, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn various aspects of construction. This role involves working on diverse projects, utilizing a range of tools and equipment, and collaborating with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Operate power tools safely and effectively.
- Pipe Laying is preferred.
- Loading, unloading and gathering of materials to perform tasks.
- Abide by companies’ corporate safety policies.
- Engage in concrete forming and masonry tasks as required.
- Use of small equipment such as pipe saw, drills and compactors.
- Shoveling, racking and levelling of materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience with power tools is essential; familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Experience in concrete forming, masonry, caulking, construction painting work is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina: ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to safety on the job site.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on various tasks as needed.
- Class 5 driver license required and Having personal transportation is an asset.
